“It’s so amazing to see the spirit of generosity so present in all of you! Your willingness to help those less fortunate by providing food during this Christmas season is such a blessing. Thank you all so much. We delivered the food to the Bread of Life food pantry at KCC and the shelves seemed pretty bare. KCC told us they had 60 families from our community come through Monday night. They were so appreciative of our generosity. One church helping another – that’s what it’s all about! Our Hillside Coffee Break team was able to provide four large shopping carts full of food!! After our talk from Nicole on Tuesday about poverty in America, this seemed like the perfect way to bless others this season. It brings such a sense of comfort knowing that many children in our own Kentwood & surrounding area will not go without food because of our generosity!! Below is a link in case you want to read more about the food pantry. Remember that Kentwood Community Church will become a part of our own Streams of Hope Food Pantry when the building is complete. http://www.kentwoodcommunitychurch.com/foodpantry May God richly bless you and your family this Christmas. We look forward to seeing you at Coffee Break as we start our next study on January 10.”
